Advanced Cosmetic Procedures (ACP) is a new name for `Advanced Electrolysis`.

ACP uses Short Wave Diathermy (High Frequency A/C) for the safe removal of many benign fibrous & vascular blemishes.

Advanced electrolysis, remains the number one choice for aestheticians in the cosmetic field.

The outcome is highly dependent on the skill and training of the practitioner.

Deborah Churchill-Napier BSc (Hons) Registered Nurse (NMC) is our Advanced Cosmetic Procedure Practitioner and has been practising electrolysis for over 23 years.

The term diathermy (thermology) refers to the creation of heat using electrical pulses.

The electricity causes water molecules in the skin around the needle to vibrate, which creates heat.

Using sufficient heat damages the cells of the lesion that it is targeting to successfully destroy it.

Who can perform Advanced Cosmetic Procedures using Electrolysis?

All members of the medical profession (Doctors, Nurses etc.), and suitably advanced trained and qualified Beauty Therapists can perform this procedure depending on the complexity of the skin condition being treated.

If you think you have an undiagnosed dermatological condition, we would recommend seeing a medical professional for treatment.
