Micro Needling

Course of 3 £350

*Price includes post-treatment Dermalogica® skin care kit.

Microneedling is an advanced cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the  skin (150 insertions per second) with multiple tiny, sterile needles to treat different skin conditions.

This technique causes microtrauma to the skin, which stimulates the regeneration of new collagen – a protein that prevents our skin from sagging.

It increases elasticity and refines the texture of the skin, creating smoother, luminous, younger-looking skin.

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, and is used in combination with microneedling to
give superb skin rejuvenation.

All skin types/conditions can be treated using microneedling including:

  • Fine lines, wrinkles, lax skin, sagging and general signs of ageing
  • Poor skin tone
  • Enlarged pores
  • Acne scars and stretch marks
  • Hyperpigmentation (sun damage and age spots)
  • Thinning hair/alopecia

Benefits of Microneedling

1. Microneedling has fast results

The skin will remain quite pink for about 24-48 hours after treatment. Thereafter, you will enjoy plump and luminous skin lasting for a number of months.

2. Microneedling results improve with time

If you choose to continue with microneedling sessions, you will see a drastic increase in collagen, with results lasting up to six months after treatment.

3. Microneedling helps hair growth

Alopecia – a condition which causes hair loss – is suffered by many people the world over. It has many underlying causes, and can result in patchy or total hair loss, on the head and body. One of the treatment options for this form of hair loss is microneedling, which stimulates the dormant hair follicles, encouraging growth.

4. Microneedling can reduce cellulite

Microneedling has shown to have positive results in the treatment of cellulite (uneven fat deposits in the body). Through microneedling, the skin becomes firmer, making it more difficult for the skin to dimple.

5. Microneedling makes skin look younger

As we age, our skin loses collagen, resulting in the skin thinning, sagging and wrinkling. Microneedling boosts the generation of new skin tissue, which increases the production of collagen. The end result is much plumper, youthful-looking skin.

6. Microneedling prevents signs of ageing

Alongside treating existing wrinkles and sagging, microneedling can also be used to prevent wrinkles and fine lines from starting at all.

7. Microneedling can treat scars and pigmentation

Scars can be detrimental to a person’s self-esteem. Fortunately, microneedling treatments have proven results in diminishing the appearance of all scar types, including acne scars, age spots and uneven pigmentation. It’s even known to reduce the appearance of large pores. This is all done by breaking down the old scar tissue and triggering the production of collagen for a healthier-looking dermis.

8. Microneedling reduces the appearance of stretch marks

Stretch marks may appear as a result of sudden weight loss and gain, particularly among pregnant women. These can be extremely difficult to treat, however, microneedling is known to improve the appearance of stretch marks.
